Folktale, dream and their connections
Vídršperková, Lenka ; Kučera, Miloš (advisor) ; Smetáčková, Irena (referee) ; Voldřich, Michal (referee)
The dissertation discusses the similarities or even possible relatedness of folktales and dreams. The theoretical framework of this research is mainly psychoanalytical - in accordance with psychoanalytic theory, the assumption is accepted that manifestations of the unconscious can be observed in folktales, as well as in dreams. Manifest and latent content can be found in both, folktales and dreams, and therefore they can be interpreted. Some authors, such as the Hungarian folklorist G. Róheim, propose that a folktale originally comes from an individual dream, which was told by a dreamer and gradually enriched with cultural specifics. M. Kučera's theory of induction follows from this - folktales induce dreams that would have been dreamed anyway, because their content is based on child's unconscious needs and conflicts. The first part presents the theoretical basis. In the next part, a possible procedure for interpreting a folktale is shown on the folktale type ATU 510B (Princess with a Golden Star on her Forehead from B. Němcová). The available versions of the folktale are searched and compared; the basic timeline of the folktale is defined. The most famous interpretations are presented: According to some of them, the folktale deals with the psyche of an abused woman, according to others, the...
Parent-children incest behaviour and its' consequences
Beschornerová, Eliška ; Kuncová, Lucie (advisor) ; Bártová, Klára (referee)
This bachelor thesis reviews studies investigating incestuous behaviour between parents and their offspring. The first part of the thesis deals with the definition of incestuous behaviour - i.e., which individuals and what behaviour is involved- and the prevalence of incestuous relationships between father and daughter and between mother and son. Next, the factors of incest prevalence are discussed, including the overall characteristics of families where incestuous relationships occur and the individual characteristics of the incestuous father and mother. Subsequently, based on the presented factors, the basic types of incestuous relationships are described - functional type, accidental or disorganized type, pathological incest, incest through object fixation, and psychopathic incest. The paper also discusses the consequences of incestuous behaviour, which could be divided into three groups: relational imbalance, increased risk of intergenerational incest, and traumatic neurosis. Finally, the thesis concludes by describing the psychological mechanism that prevents incest behaviour, the so-called Westermarck effect. Keywords: incest, prevalence of incestuous behaviour, Westermarck effect, types of incest, father-daughter incest, mother-son incest, consequences of incest, sexual abuse

Sexuální zneužívání dětí Sexual abuse of children Petra Dvořáková This work describes the sexual abuse of children. The main objective was to create a work that would form a coherent and comprehensive view on this issue. The thesis contains a theoretical and practical part. The goal of the practical part is the description of cases of sexual abuse, evaluation, comparison of results and identification of common features that appear in the case studies and also in the theoretical part of my work. The analyses of case studies show that the perpetrator was always the family. The consequences of sexual abuse that emerged from the case studies, agree with your description of the theoretical part. In most cases, it was a long- term consequence. The last chapter of the thesis is called prevention. This chapter is the most important of the whole work. Suchá, Kateřina ; Novotný, David Jan (advisor) ; Zavřelová, Monika (referee)
In my bachelor thesis named Study of a movie named Josef Fritzel: Story of a Monster and its comparation with real facts I deal with description of the case as such, with help from book Josef Fritzl: monster from Amstetten. I work with circumstances, which make the story of this case and I follow said story to its end in courtroom. Second part of my thesis is dedicated to documentary movie written in the title of a thesis. I analyze the way this movie tells the story of Fritzl and his daughter and also statements of their friends and family members. Then I compare both parts (book and a movie) and I rate them in the next chapter, which is connected to another one focusing on czech, slovak and foreign reviews. There are more ways of portraying real facts in my bachelor thesis than just information from the book - it's also a media image of this case, to which is dedicated the fifth chapter. I analyze some of czech, foreign and tabloid news in few sub-chapters. Psychology also plays an important role in this topic and because of it I analyze three main characters in this story - Josef, Rosemarie and Elisabeth Fritzl - psychologically in the next part of my thesis. I dedicate the last chapter to similar cases all around the world, so the reader has an opportunity to compare these with the Amstetten...

LENDLEROVÁ, Denisa
The Master thesis entitled as "The Personal View of a Child on Sexual abuse and Its Social Impact" is a research work dealing with the analysis of the monograph "The Spider Games" by Zuzana S. The main aim of the work is to find out what social impact sexual abuse had on the author's life. The research was conducted as a qualitative investigation based on an anchored theory using a monograph analysis as a data acquisition technique. The Student has used the individual case studying method. The results showed that a sexual abuse had an impact on the author's life in all aspects. The sexual abuse has influenced the most the partner's relationships, the relationships in her family, the author's health, author's self-concept, and her sexuality. The work could be beneficial for the general public interested in this problematic, because it provides theoretical basics and refers to the direct resources. Furthermore, we can see the beneficial possibility of this work, to carry out a more extensive research to investigate the theoretical claims. The thesis can be useful for workers in helping professions, as to understand the victims of sexual abuse.
